This ceremony, held in a mood of deep emotion and contemplation, was attended by several dignitaries, including Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, members of the government, members of the Presidential Transitional Council, the President of the Court of Cassation, Jean Joseph Lebrun, General-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAd'H), Derby Guerrier, Acting Director General of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Normil Rameau, and several guests.
In his homily, Reverend Father Jean Robert Louis stated, "We are gathered here this morning to pay a well-deserved tribute to our late President Jovenel Moïse... It is fitting that we pay him this tribute on the occasion of his fourth death anniversary." People like President Jovenel Moïse, who died for their country, are in the peace of God [...] Jovenel Moïse was a very pious man, deeply Catholic, kind, obedient, respectful, and frank, who trusted his friends [...]" He took the opportunity to pray for the repose of President Moïse's soul.
