Truitier : 2 terrorists killed, weapons and ammunition seized

On Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, during an operation in the Truitier area of the Tabarre commune, two terrorists were fatally injured in an exchange of fire with SWAT officers and the Departmental Law Enforcement Unit. Following this operation, a Taiwanese 5.56 caliber rifle, model T65, ammunition, and a motorcycle were seized.

Cayes Criminal Assizes, the Dean Satisfied

North : Project Phenix

CONATEL : Reminder of prohibitions

In a circular published on July 23, 2025, the National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) reminds Haitian radiocommunication operators that it strictly prohibits any assignment, lease, or transfer of frequencies without prior authorization. This measure, in accordance with the decree of October 12, 1977, aims to preserve the State's monopoly on telecommunications services.
