Russia criticizes abandonment of Haiti Russia, through its representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, issued a stark warning about the deteriorating situation in Haiti. He highlighted the collapse of State authority, the rise of criminal gangs, and the plight of child victims of violence. Polyanskiy criticized the Haitian government and international donors for abandoning the country and failing to implement effective security measures. He stressed the urgent need for international support, compliance with the arms embargo, and the protection of vulnerable populations as the country faces a deepening crisis.
