Following the example of the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies, has proceeded Tuesday to the renewal of members of its bureau. The Deputy Levaillant Louis Jeune (Desdunes / INITE) was elected new President, succeeding to Sorel Jacinthe.

Ocinjac Benjamin (Grande Rivière du Nord / Bahon / INITE) was elected Vice President of bureau, Poly Faustin (Miragoâne / INITE) vice President of sessions. Jude Charles Faustin (Borgne / Port Margot / KONBIT) and Guerda B. Benjamin (Savanette/Quartier Baptiste / Ansanm Nou Fó) are respectively the first and second secretary, the position of Questeur and of vice Questeur, are occupied by Cholzer Chancy (Ennery / Ayiti An Aksyon (AAA)) and Louis Marie Bonhomme (Saint-Louis du Nord / Anse-à-Foleur "Pou Nou Tout" (PONT)).

If the new President of the Senate supports the President of Martelly, the Deputy Levaillant Louis Jeune is strongly opposed to the Head of State, particularly in the case Arnel Bélizaire. Fierce opponent of President Martelly, he did not hesitate to declare end of November, on the airwaves of a radio of the Capital "an impeachment proceedings against the President Michel Martelly will be undertaken as soon as Parliament resumes in January."

The vow to work together to rebuild the country in the interests of the people, so dear to the Head of State, is likely to be thwarted by the new President, whose public statements, more emotional than rational, may contribute to the deterioration of relations between the executive and the Chamber of Deputies, of relationships that are already not very harmonious.
